All proceeds go to the driver – guide. This is an all-inclusive price and caters for all expenditures incurred by the driver-guide, like meals and accommodation.
It is possible to do a multiple country roadtrip. Border crossing to the following countries is allowed: Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya. This requires an extension of the insurance cover.
If you are planning to trek the gorilla's in Bwindi Forest and the chimps in Kibale Forest, it is recommended that you reserve the permits well in advance. The Uganda Wildlife Association in Kampala issues the permits only upon cash payment in full ( no pre-booking). Roadtrip Uganda can arrange the permits on your behalf when you book a car with us. For this we charge a handling fee of $15 / chimp and $ 25 / gorilla permit. The permits are dealt with separately as payments go to the Uganda Wildlife Association. So once we have finished the car rental booking and invoice, you can let us know if you are interested and we get back to you for the details.
